If you are interested in adopting a Bexata Greyhound, please email sanctuaryemail@yahoo.com.   If you call, you will hear a recording that asks you to email first.   We don't answer phone inquiries about Greyhounds, but will talk with you after the application process is complete.  THE GREYHOUNDS ARE NOT FREE.   THERE IS AN ADOPTION FEE...

These are the Greyhounds currently available.  I try to keep this up to date.   Dalphina has been adopted.  Mister has been adopted.  Often adopted Greyhounds are in pictures with the other Greyhounds, so please ask if you aren't sure if one that catches your eye is adopted (if it doesn't say so in the picture of multiple Greyhounds).

Many more pictures of the available Greyhounds are below on this page.  Just scroll down.  We generally have only young adults available at Bexata, but we do help Greyhound farms, trainers, racetracks, individuals and on occasion, breeders, so we, on rare occasions, have some puppies available.  For the privacy of the Greyhound farms, trainers, and others that might surrender a Greyhound to Bexata, we do not disclose individual Greyhound information.   They come here from various places and are rehabilitated and rehomed after the application process.   Email bexataanimalsanctuary@yahoo.com for more information and an adoption application.

If you're not ready to adopt now,  please consider making a donation to help us continue to help Greyhounds.

We do not do third party adoptions.     Additionally, we do not adopt for Christmas or birthday surprises/presents.   The actual adopter must complete our Greyhound Adoption Application and be approved.   If we don't have a Greyhound for you,  there may be another rescue that does.   The object is not necessarily to have you adopt from my rescue.  The object is to get rescue Greyhounds into wonderful permanent homes, not where you get your Greyhound.  It's the Greyhound that matters!   It is an expensive proposition to rescue, rehabilitate and prepare Greyhounds for rehoming.  My rescue is not supported by corporations or large groups, it runs on donations and adoption fees.   Adoption fees are made clear up front and are firm.  If you come out here, please do not feel you can negotiate the adoption fee as if it was a sale price that is negotiable.   The adoption fee goes right to feed, vet, meds, and other expenses to maintain the Greyhounds and my rescue.

THE THUMBNAIL PICTURES WILL BE REDONE ASAP.  MANY OF THOSE GREYHOUNDS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.
DO NOT CLICK ON THE THUMBNAIL PICTURES.
